- Call Log Information: We access your call logs (call history, including missed, received, and dialed calls, phone numbers, and call durations) to display your call history and identify unknown callers.
- Device Information: We may automatically collect device information (such as your mobile device ID, model, and operating system) for analytics and crash reporting purposes to improve the App's stability.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use personal information collected via our App for a variety of business purposes described below:
- To facilitate core features: To display Caller ID, manage your contacts, and allow you to make or receive phone calls through the App.
- To improve user experience: By understanding how users interact with our App, we can fix bugs and enhance features.
- For advertising: We may use third-party advertising networks which may collect non-personal data to serve relevant ads.
3. PERMISSIONS WE REQUEST
To operate properly, our App requires the following Android permissions. We request these strictly for the App's core functionality:
- READ_CONTACTS / WRITE_CONTACTS: Essential for displaying, editing, and searching your contacts.
- READ_CALL_LOG / WRITE_CALL_LOG: Essential for displaying your call history and allowing you to manage call records.
- CALL_PHONE: Required to initiate phone calls directly from the App.
- READ_PHONE_STATE: Required to detect incoming and outgoing calls to display the Caller ID screen.
- SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW (Draw over other apps): Necessary to display the Caller ID pop-up screen over other applications when you receive a call.
4. SHARING YOUR INFORMATION
We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Third-party service providers (like analytics or ad networks, such as Google AdMob) may collect data as governed by their respective privacy policies.
5. DATA RETENTION AND SECURITY
We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy notice unless otherwise required by law. Most of the core data (contacts and call logs) is processed locally on your device. We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.
6. USER RIGHTS & DATA DELETION
Since the core data (contacts and call logs) remains on your device, you can remove our access to this data at any time by revoking permissions in your device settings or by uninstalling the App. If you have concerns about any data processed on our servers, you may contact us to request data deletion.
7. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Effective Date" and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
